place that hurt, many times it quit hurting. They rejected the chinese belief systems for why it works and so studied needles and their effects and using western scientific methods, today we know that if you take and stick a needle in somewhere that hurts, many times it will stop hurting.
Okay, we DO understand much of how acupuncture actually works but there are still unexplained things that it can do. Let's concentrate on one thing that western science does understand and that's how skinny little acupuncture needles can fix trigger points.
Trigger points. You know then as those painful knots in your muscles. Have you ever felt those knots radiating pain to other areas like into your head giving you headaches or into shoulders, knees, low back and lots of other places you might have pain and not think that it's a muscle problem.
