still want to learn more about his early experiences with computers!
Anyway, he recently wrote a blog entry which made me thinking. Now that we are more connected than ever, how will we function socially? How will new ideas be approached? Will I, when you for instance come with a grand new idea, say "Oh, that's old news. I read about it on a blog four months ago, check Technorati on X topic". On the other side, how many good ideas are left stranding because these ideas lack strong supporters? Or just supporters who want to see the things come alive?
In this age of information overload, how will we navigate?
I made a small movie where I show my reading/highlighting of Markus' blog entry and offer some comments on my own.
On-screen behaviour vs off-screen behaviour. I have several times videotaped myself walking to the office. How often have I videotaped how I surf the net? Having surfed the net for ten years, I am bound to have some habits. Some of them are hard to break down, like my tendency to have a zillion windows open at the same time. I now have 11 different programmes running.
There are so many good projects out there. What stops us from joining forces with some of them? The people? That they are not MY projects? Hmm.
