His team from the National ICT Australia, the Australian Centre for Field Robotics at the University of Sydney, the University of Technology, Sydney, and the University of California, Berkeley are competing in the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. This is a competition run by the American military for cars driving themselves in traffic.
