...and yes I understand that 'porn' is a subjective statement and the last thing I want is to impose what I think is too much for the front-page on everyone else.

That's why I'd like to hear from you, the community, tell us. This includes the owners of feeds that have material that we might feel that is a bit much for the front page. Nothing against you either...let's all figure something out.

Pron on the front page...this is really starting to be pain.

We build features so people can get exposure that they can't get other places and it gets totally trampled on by porn and spammers.

We don't want to be censors, but at the same time we want a site that's friend for everyone....

Comments? I'd like to resolve this as soon as possible. Should there be a flag to not show on frontpage, etc....or something?

I want to hear from as many people as possible please.

Ok... I don't know what I typed but it took me five tries to find lofi st louis the other day. Oh... neverming... search will get there.

"lofi St. Louis" ...um, put it in the search box and click 'Search' it's the second hit? Not sure what the problem is there :)

That should pretty much end it for now. But we're going to have to be prepared to put word verification on the signup form at some point.

Speaking of which. I MUST bitch about the signup process... the verification process is HORRIBLE.

Someone complained to me the other day about it and I checked it out.

It's appaling. A form should never go to a blank and open page for verification that tells you to use the back button! What happened I don't know.

But it could absolutely use a little ajax so verification happens without even reloading the page.

There's a SWEET example on JPG magazine's site. It even verifies information as you type.

We don't need anything that extravegant.

But my gawd! No wonder our new signups have gone down while our traffic has gone up!?

It's pretty much number one on my list of things that need attention.

And again... thanks for the spam comment fix. You rule. I'm very much enjoying mefeedia right now. It's getting closer to firing on all cylinders.

Next we need to improve workflow tremendously on collections and lists, making it easier to add videos to collections... especially from the open web... bookmarklet anyone? ... and lists needs a little more help being collaborative and it needs to be easier to add feeds. Primarily the problem is that our feeed search needs improvement. People can't find stuff. I.E. Try to find lofi St. Louis with our search engine.

The other thing of course is we need more help documentation, and that's ALL on me.

Again... I LOVE the ability to add notest when creating a list. They break up the monotony of the layout and add tremendously useful information.

In addition to subscribe buttons it would be nice to know wether a podcast was audio or video if you can swind that one.

I hesitate to ask for anything like thumbnails. I just think it would overwhelm the page.

What do you think? I like this new "listing" feature.. nothing like a good old fashioned list of feeds to discover some new stuff :)
