Lastly, the creators of the soundtrack to one of the most beloved Disney parades of all-time (Composer Jean Jacques Perrey, synthesizer master Don Dorsey and music arranger Jim Christensen) meet for the first time to discuss the evolution of the "Baroque Hoedown" - - the world-famous theme song for the Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade (which premiered in 1972, retired in 1996 and returned, to Disney's California Adventure, by popular demand in 2001 where performances continue). This August/September audio podcast is the last to showcase the Disneyland 50th Anniversary celebration (which officially ends September 30). An all-new show will debut in early October highlighting Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" which launches at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort on October 4.The show will continue to feature a great combination of helpful tips on how to make the most of a visit to the resort, information on what's new or soon-to-debut and a look at the special nuances that continue to make the Disneyland Resort the place where dreams come true.
