Help With medical,,,

I addopted louie a katrina dog and I have only had him for about 8 mths and all ready I have been charged 4000.00 in medical bills and I have no way to pay them, I am a single mom and my daughter thought we should get a dog so we got louie for the Duxbury(mass) pound. We found out the hard way he had a hernia I bent down to hug him and he almost took my face off because i rubbed his tummy and it must have hurt him, so I took him to the doc and that was 500.00. A couple mths later he was playing with a tug-of-war rope toy and swollowed a piece of the rope so back into the doc office and back to surgery 3500.00 now my daughter and I have to move into a smaller house less rent and less room for louie and us.I'm not really sure who to talk to but if any one does please contact me asap so we can keep louie he is the best dog anyone could addopt.
