Steve Garfield makes hyper local journalism look easy. I don't know how he does it, but I find his videos more interesting then 99% of the mainstream content out there even though it doesn't directly pertain to me.

great example of beautifully simple hyper localism. You don't have to be brilliant. You just have to be likeable and have local pride and interest.
