Video Search & Discovery

Mefeedia's Video Search & Discovery engine is at the core of what we do.

The explosion of online video, combined with the inability of standalone video search to help audiences find what they want to watch, has created a new category: video search & discovery engines. Video search & discovery engines, like Mefeedia, help audiences find video through a combination of traditional browsing environments, search, and new social networking environments.

Mefeedia's proprietary video search & discovery engine connects audiences to videos via:

  • Video Search that enables you to find video, audio, and TV shows from 15,000 sources across the Web.

  • Vertical Video Communities that categorize and feature popular videos by topic, event, or location. Mefeedia already has over 200 such communities, ranging from cooking to golf, from presidential primaries to tech expos, and from Hawaiian beaches to the sidewalks of London.

  • Meeps Social Network that make you aware of what friends are watching. Mefeedia's social network of Meeps provides the mechanism for users to use their friends as filters, watching only what their friends have watched or recommended.

  • Personalized Recommendations for new videos, shows, and channels based on users' personal interests and what they have watched.
